TRENDS THAT ARE OUT IN 2020

It is almost impossible that certain trends are completely out as they appear in a cycles but some of the trends will be appearing for now less frequently or are going to go away for time being.

WHAT IS OUT?

Say goodbye to boring greys.

The #monochromatic #grey #palette is out! Didn't everyone loved greys and whites so much lately? Well, they are out, at least as a predominant colour. They won't be coming back for sometime. In are interiors with bolder colours.

Cool tones and colours.

It is all the same for paint colours, fabric choices, tiles and everything else. Cool tones are making way for palette of warmer, more saturated colours bringing in a warmth of home.

You don't need to throw out all your grey pillows though and you don't need to repaint entire house in warn beige right away! Brin in the warmer additions and they will do the trick too.

No accent walls.

Bolder times are coming! The designers are encouraging to have fun. If you like certain colour or pattern you may as well keep it throughout entire room. My advise though - have fun if this is the home you are staying in. Be careful if this is property that you are trying to sell...

Over-the-range microwaves.

Isn't it what we see in almost every kitchen? Yes, and the designers are going to bring in new concepts that we are going to see especially in new developments. Microwave won't be a main focal point on the kitchen anymore. We are going to see it still easy to access though.

No separation of spaces.

How often do you use your formal dining room? Few times a year? Even then people not really sit at this formal table...The living spaces are becoming more fluid helping with utilizing the unused places in a home. We are going to see new trends of solving issues with lack of storage space.

No resin fire tables.

The season to use those is around the corner. But they won't be coming back in the same form. Fire bowls are in. they are simpler but since are not limited to a table they can be coming in many

interesting, and beautiful forms.

Granite countertops and real marble.

Real marble is so beautiful but people rather look for functionality and ease of upkeep. The fake marble is in giving the fantastic look and zero maintenance. Of course except your normal after meal cleaning. The great alternative to granite will be quartz known for its durability and easy maintenance.

Faux plants.

No surprise here. Although often they can be pretty, definitely easy to maintain, and savers for those who simply have no touch for real plants or are too busy, fake plants are out. This its consistent with latest #ecological #trends, so we are going to see a lot of real plants in and at times in a quite spectacular way.
